Yes, selflessness is a very important key to a successful guild, but that wasn't what I was trying to point out.

What I was trying to point out was that you need to give reasons why people would want to join: Ex. benefits such as helpful guild mates and a helpful GM. Activities like Kingshead raids, you know, stuff that people might be looking for in thier guild hunt.
