The Darkblade -reawakened-

Its been almost 6 months since The Darkblade were seen on the high seas. Tia foretold the slumber that Capt. M. Darkblade would take if he crept into the caves of Padres del Fuego. He didnt listen. He crept into the murky caves beneath Padres...that day would be the beginning of an almost endless sleep. Chained and shackled by the dreaded Gypsies of Padres del Fuego, he lay there gathering dust as thick as his sails on his Dark Blade Tiger till the day he would be called to the sea again. That day is now.

Reason for creation: I created The Darkblade for 2 reasons. One was to have some close friends from Phantasy Star Online join me in yet another game we added to our play list and the other was to create a group of friends and family that were equal to eachother. a guild where we helped eachother and where noone would have the stress of competition or have to deal with the usual Im-better-then-you we see so frequently in games these days.

Code of Conduct/Regulations: in no specific order
You are your own boss. - I dont control you. if you dont want to do an event with the guild it is by your choice. Above that, Real Life comes first.

Help Eachother - I little help goes a long way. Especially when you have to sink ships, invade Kingshead etc. Be willing to help a lower level out or crew up to get something done

Fun is the key word - need I say more? well ok, If your not having fun then Im not having fun. Lets have fun, make fun and build upon that fun together.

We are there for you - If you need help, advice, need to report a problem your having inside the guild, come to me or my wife Angel Darkblade and we will find a solution.

Loyalty to your guild - Although I dont mind you running around with other guilds I would hope you would still hold The Darkblade in high priority. I am not one to steal members from other guilds so I would hope the same respect would be applied to me and the crew as well. The more you show loyalty to the guild the better your chances of becoming an officer.

Recruiting. At first I only accepted my own family and close friends I knew from Beta and other games. Eventually (like all MMO games) you meet some people and then bam your guild gets up and going.

Things I look for - Communication/Honesty, Understanding (I have 3 kids and get pulled away) Teamwork and Participation.

Things I hate - Greed/Begging. backtalk/Bragging, Liars & Guild-hoppers.

Current State of Affairs -
I was having alot of RL issues and had to step away. During that time some of my founding members also took hiatus. My son picked up playing the game recently and it got me interested in potc again (its something I can play on a level playingfield with my son and wife) so here I am, putting this post down and opening The Darkblades doors to you all. Some of you may remember seeing me or some of my crew flying about on different adventures on these high seas.
