I address those two skills on an as needed basis.

I generally do not place additional points in attune until I find it useful to do so.
In early stages attuning more than 1 enemy isnt as useful, as your doll is still weak and gaining power.

Later stages attuning multiple enemies to 'divide' your dolls power can help to gain more reps.

Of course the ability to heal more than one of your friends, or to heal a friend while attacking an enemy is also useful so a point to attune can help to allow that.

Placing more points in "heal" or "cure" will allow you to restore more health to your friends when used. Again until im at a stage where im helping my friends with healing, I dont put more than the first point there.
I usually dont put any extra in cure again until later, as its recharge time is huge, the Heal spell recharges rather quickly.
You do earn reps for healing friends that are fighting enemies
