I've had the same problem. I use the Shift-W as autopilot now. The problem is that since there's no wake, when I turn it off, I never know whether I'm moving forward or not. I end up having to turn on the map just to double check that I'm still moving.

But I've also had the other problem. My frigate looks like it's half there and the broadsides don't seem to be working or at least hitting anything. But at least I can still log on, unlike some friends.
