lol! this happened to me, me and my friend had boarded the Colossus over and over, and then somehow instead of going back onto my ship at the end, the whole thing just sank and we both went under water. My friend spat out her drink laughing and woke up her little sister.

I think it is when you board it close it's spawning point, because we were.
