Becca, a family friend, is the one that got me hooked on Pirates. She occassionally makes trips down to stay the weekend with us. She was here for the first round of double gold recently. It was great to be able to sit in the same room and just tell each other what we were going after. Made sinking the Omen, Juggy, and Behemoth a lot easier.

My guildies use Ventrilo, we can talk to each other while playing it adds a whole other dimension. Lots of fun. Sorry folks its not a public "pirates" vent server.
