i am in no way shape or form shy and have to bite my lip often during regular wench chat. Being one of the few priviledged men to be in the wenches the last thing i want to do is wear out my welcome with a bad attempt at a joke. I did turn the game sounds down when I got on vent initially, just because I wasn't sure how much background noise the microphone would pick up, but once you get the settings balanced it seems to work very well.

And I wouldn't worry too much about your sense of humor - I'd say we're all a lot less edited than when we type. But really, vent makes things like sailing so much easier (not to mention, sinking hurts a lot less when you're laughing really hard).
