What do you find as the most useless and most useful staff hex?

Pestilence and desolation are of no use to this pirate....

¥ Staff ¥

Blast: I only use to get the attention of an enemy or finish off when its health is low.

Soul flay: Must start with this to level up. I now only use if Voo-Doo is low and cant cast anything else.

Pestilence: Decent to poison something with and then switch to flaming skull/wither. I wouldn't spend more than one point in it.

Wither: Great for leveling up, flag ships and when getting attacked by multiple enemies. You don't have to aim it...just be in the vicinity. I have 5 points on some characters and 4 points in this for others.

Flaming skull: Another great option. Although is uses more Voo-Doo than wither and takes longer to charge...it does do more damage. You also have to aim this to make sure you are locked on to cast. I have 5 points on some characters and 4 points in this for others.

Banish: Does major damage on undead...takes too long to charge and uses too much Voo-Doo. I have one point in this. Nice to use and then switch to something else.

Desolation: With 5 points it does massive damage, but is it worth taking your own health? I go back and forth with this one....I modified skills many times to decide if I should even have it. It looks really cool when you cast it and you can wipe out the entire field of soldiers at Kings Head in one shot. Is it worth it? One of my characters has it maxed out just for giggles. Overall, I'd say use flame or wither.

Concentration: Awesome - most characters have several points in this
Spirit lore: Awesome - most characters have several points in this
Conservation: Not worth it - you wont run out of Voo-Doo often once you level up
Spirit mastery: Awesome as it helps both the staff and doll for additional damage
