All I can say is, Eeeeewwwwww! The Mysty/Lew combo makes my head spin. NOT the best of both worlds, IMO.

Sorry I had to bug out before the actual Plunder Party part of last night's festivities, but the weather was getting REALLY rough, and I had to take care of business at the house and get some sleep. Turns out, the overnight snowfall wasn't as bad as they predicted.

Next Wednesday,

We have a major milestone to celebrate!
Our 150th member in the guild! Paaaaarrrtaaaayyyyyy!

I have been trying to work out the details for a 2 on 2 PvP double elimination tournament. I know most of us really aren't into PvP or even SvS, but I think it may be a nice change of pace.

So, Anyone who would be interested, form up into teams of 2. Register your team here, so that I can start a spreadsheet for keeping track.

The rules:

I will seed the teams prior to the beginning of the tournament.
Each team will check in, and I will tell you your opponent for that round.
Each round, I will ASSIGN either a single weapon, or no more than 2 weapons that you will be allowed to use during that round.
The two teams will go into PvP, (Not SvS), and do battle. At the end of the round, you will tell me who wins.
A single round tie will be re-fought until there is a definite winner.
Winners will move to the winners bracket, losers to the losers bracket, and opponents will be re-assigned.
TWO losses, and your team is out of the tournament.
We play until there is only one team left with less than two losses.
NO GLITCHING or unauthorized weapons!
Prizes:
5 K in gold to each member of the winning team.
2 K in gold to each member of the second place team.
(That's from Basil, other senior pirates may offer to chip in gold also!)

NOW, if there isn't enough interest to do this: (I'm not going to oragnize and run the tournament unless there are at least 8 teams)

Next Wednesday will be Invade KingsHead night. An attempt to take over the leaderboard for Enemies Defeated. (I know, these can be boring, but they can also be a great way to meet and team up with all the new guildies.)

Late January - Scavenger Hunt 2
(I'm still collecting tasks for this, so the date is still tenuous.)
I ask that those who participated in the first Scav Hunt include some of the new members into your teams. It would make the experience better all the way around.

Febuary 11 - Anniversary of the founding of The Elite Circle
(For those of you who don't know it, DW is the offspring of TEC. When TEC lost our GM, we kept it running for over 3 months, then finally moved almost all the members over to DW.)
