Not to mention, some are purple (or blue or pink or whatever color it is. lol) as well. Have no clue what it all mean. Figured they would have fixed that already.

It's no bug - a pirate with no name is in a guild. The color determines how difficult the other pirate is to beat in a PVP.

Ahhh ok, I never considered guilds. Can a pirate only belong to one guild? If so, that makes sense to me, because hiding the name tells you that you can't add that pirate to your own guild.

why doesn't it show your name if you're in a guild? is it like was said above? so you know not to add them to your guild?

I always thought when a pirate has a flag it means they're in a guild.
With the no name thing, I just figured it was a bug. Sometimes I see my name and sometimes I dont. |

Don't know about the flag as for the colors...I thought gray meant they were in a crew already and blue meant the person is not in a crew.

Haha, well this still seems to be a big mystery. I know one thing, though. If their name really disappears when they're in a guild that kind of stinks. Come on! Just because they have good friends they play with means I can't see their pirates name and level? Seems silly.
