That is downright cool! Please go ahead and add some - I've no monopoly on that guide. And actually, it was about sailing, so it probably isn't entirely relevant. I'm curious what it looks like at different zoom levels, though.

EDIT: Here's all of the zooms all the way out to all the way in. ![]() ![]() ![]() Currently at sea you can't see the islands but maybe they'll add that in. |

Fantastic! Look, you can see the boundaries it uses to calculate "YOU ARE SAILING TOO CLOSE TO SHORE." Quick! Get one of each island before they take it away!

It will give me something to do when the update hits, that's for sure. If you get some more, please try to make sure you are facing exactly North. For each island, like this, I'll be able to enlarge the maximum zoom view, then supplement it with minimum zoom overlays (and actually get the positioning right!) This opens up all sorts of things for game cartography. Might finally get a decent picture for Queen's Nest. |

I hope you don't plan on trying to take pictures and then put them all together to make a map of each island. If so it's going to be a big task and almost impossible to do to make it look good. The arrows will have to be taken out and you'll have to put whatever the arrow was on back in. I wouldn't want to do it. |

I got Test working by reinstalling it: I had to switch the drive regular POTCO was on. Anyway, I think I approve of the change. But now, with POTCO on D, everything when I'm walking on open land is whitened down. The ground is blank white, and the walls are various forms of peach and other light colors--the insides of buildings and the seas are fine though.
Anyone know how to solve those problems? |

I don't think this update will hit open until all of the maps for Port Royal are done and once most of the bugs are fixed. It could take two weeks to a month. Maybe even longer. I've seen more issues with the new Port Royal than old. There's a lot of missing textures when changing graphic levels which could take a while to fix. These maps are a great addition to the game. I can't wait to see what all of them look like when they're finished. |
