Reason for wanting to become a Captain: Well, I can take charge of a situation when needed, however I can also take orders, as long as you don't abuse the privelige.
What Ship do you own: Light Frigate (I think that's what it's called)
How much experience in Captaining a Ship do you have: I've only ever sailed a ship with me, myself, and I, however I am awfully good at dealing with those pesky navy ships.
Why The Gold Diggers Crew: Well, I've looked at many crews, and as of yet, this crew is the most interesting one that has caught my eye. Other than that, soloing in POTCO makes the game boring, it's much more fun when youre playing with others.
Can ye handle the work of a Captain: I most certainly can
Are ye a Scurvy Scum?: Oh yes
Extra Information you would like to add: Will we also help other people out with thier quests and whatnot? I think that might improve our chances of getting more members as well

Well, I got stuck with the limmeted access... They took my ships away (locked) so I'm not sure I'll even bother with my beta account... sorry

The game only works on the empty servers anyway.

That's too bad, because we just got a first mate and we were ready to go.

An Instant Message Program is the only way you are going to hook-up with other players from... Even when I buy stuff on E-bay (for VMK), I almost never get to the right place at the right time...

Do you have Yahoo IM..? (or a Yahoo email/screen name)... If not, I could try AOL (it's been a while)... I have like, 2 friends (from in the game), I have been teleporting around, and leveling up... I never remember to ask them if they use the forum.

And I made a short little fat pirate for my 5yr old to mess with (leveling up his doll now)... The game is looking better, for the first time, to me... on servers that have almost no players, anyway... Makes me think they might risk bad reviews, from real gamers, to start taking in some gold of their own (going Open), to make up for all the extra time it took to get to open... I am guessing it has to open around Thanksgiving, or some time after next year (more time to fix things, for better reviews) to get the most money.

I wonder if they would tell us (or even be able to tell us) if they think they can keep the test servers up after the game opens..? I would put more into my test account if I knew they were. But more than willing to help others get to where they want to be in the game...

You did such a good job of coding the first post here... But (and I know it takes a lot of cooperation), I think you should have left the first few posts for member applications- We could all see what part of the crew needs help that way...

I still don't think anybody knows if we will be keeping "Test Accounts" (if I had a phone, I would call and ask right now- tomarrow), so we still have time to pull together.

Even as up-set as this game has made me (quite often), I did the pre-pay thing... (No charge until Open, why not), but they really need to fix some things before I'll pay for more than a few months- I know they put too much money into this not to get it right some time down the line...

I'm not sure what the rules are here about posting links to other sites, and I really don't have the time to be posting here... But I could show you where, and get you started coding your own Message Board, FREE.

Just like here, only you would be Admin, and run every thing... You don't need it open to the whole world to join, might be less grief (spam bots and trolls) if you didn't.

I have about 10 boards, and all I do is test codes...

A Message Board is just a big, expanding email box- you share most of your emails as posts (in fact, I need to look into IF there is a way to add notes to real emails like you can on a board)- then you even have emails (PM's) inside your email that are not shared... Can all be free, with the same adds that run here.

There should be a place (here at POF) in your profile they allow a link to a web page- you just post, or PM "Go to my Home Page"

I believe IRC chat will be fine for that. Just join the POF IRC it will work fine.
