Current News: Jan 23,'09 Pirates Online Goes Mobile

I downloaded it to my phone. Here's what I can tell you - yes I can access all of my online pirates' information.


Here is what the "More Information" section says on my phone:

POTCO (it spells it out, but I'm tired)

is a massively-multtiplayer online game that allows players to fully experience the adventure of being a Pirate. To play, connect to PiratesOnline.com from a MAC or PC browser. In the meantime, you can check out the mobile site for game stats and even earn a little booty playing Cannons of the Deep. Enjoy!

Cannons of the Deep Mobile Game
Send your ship to islands or battle locally earning gold and loot including sheet music and treasure. Maintain and upgrade your ship using gold as currency.

Gold
You will earn gold for every enemy you defeat. A small fraction of the possible gold will be earned for auto-resolving combat. A larger amount based on the type of enemy ship sunk will be rewarded for ships actively sunk via the ship-to-ship combat. Transfer gold anytime to your Pirates Online (PC) account. (Logged in Accounts Only)

Treasure (Loot)
Earn unique trasures (their sic, not mine) and collectibles for your Pirates Online Account. Collect and transfer all 12! (Logged in Accounts Only)

Sheet Music (Loot)
Earn sheet music by defeating enemies. Transfer it to your Pirates Online Account and play it in-game! (Logged in Accounts Only)

Pirates Online Leaderboards
View your Pirates, My Standings, Overall and Daily Leaderboards. (logged in Accounts Only)

You have Enhanced Access to Pirates Online on Your Phone
You have logged in allowing you to:
1.) Save your mobile games progress (including gold and ship upgrades)
2.) Transfer earned items including gold and loot to your Pirates Online Account
3.) Access the Pirates Online Leaderboards

I can see the POTCO obsessed flying down the road, looking like a DUI... due to blasting a Phantom on their cell phone!

LOL...too funny! I write in forums from work (and read them), play the game entirely too much as it is....and now this?? Lovely....I might as well head to the tattoo shop next. I'm being assimilated by Pirates!!!! Ahhhhhhhh!!!
