the only reason the developers are redoing the islands is to reduce lag. They think what is causing the lag is the open space, next thing you know they will have the high seas redone.

I sure hope not.
But reducing lag is something I don't see here. I've been experiencing more lag than ever on POTCO. I would hope they would try their hardest to fix lag issues without creating less space.
