Yay, more pointless updates. It seems like they are doing a "change for the sake of change" type thing. I'm annoyed, I like PDF the way it was. Substance, Disney, SUBSTANCE.

There's some substance in this update. Notice the lines of division in the notoriety and skill reputation bars (see Travis' 1st screenie)? They're divided up at the bottom, skill screen, etc.

That's something, right?

Overall, the new Padres del Fuego has a certain ambience that's different from the current one. The lava can be seen almost everywhere. The trees by the lava flows are burnt, broken, and brittle with little plant growth near them. There's a broken pier and a small shipwreck in the bay in front of the ship wright. The town is tucked tightly together away at the base of the volcano with other houses on the outskirts but they're half burnt and dilapidated. Fort Dundee on a corner of the island standing more grand than it was before, overlooking the town to keep the folk in line. The back beach area on the other side of the volcano is distant from the regular town and teeming with the undead. I actually do see substance, just not the kind everyone else is looking for.

Aye, that's SOMETHING I suppose. But... ehh...

Anyway, your above post says no Tim or Darkhart - and if they are gone... I'll be furious.

I agree wit ya Jas. I like padres. It's small, they're only stretching stuff out, making it harder. Then, back beach.

This is the site map for PDF back beach. You can reach it by exiting El Suderon like before or you can swim to it but the swim requires a wall glitch, they put up an invisible wall out to sea so if you attempt to swim around the island you can't. All you do is hit the invisible wall. But if you can find a wall glitch, and there are so many its sad(some require nothing more then walking into the rocks) you can swim through the island...

This is the actual location of the Padres back beach on the larger PDF map. If you continue your swim towards the red dots you end up in the lava pond seen in the above pic. The entrance to El Suderon can be seen as the white rectangle.

Two notable changes are the addition of an NPC on the Padres Back Beach to purchase tonics and the move of the PDF jail to a more scenic sea side location.
Notably absent are the 2 Bosses that used to populate the back beach area. I searched the entire area and they are absent. If anyone has the lvl 20 Doll quest open please tell us all where they went to or if its just a pop up now only when the quest is open?

Just a a funny aside, if you logged out from PDF last night when you log in today you will start on Tormenta beach. It only happens the first time but its odd when you finally figure out where you are.
