I just got in. I'm trying to figure out what I'm looking for LOL. What is the point of this game?

People play the game differently. Some like to sail and plunder, sail and plunder, sail and plunder
 Others follow the storyline quests that's laid out for you, which is what I do. Either way, the most fun is when you join a guild and make friends to play the game with. I was pretty much a solo player until I joined Bad to the Bones Guild (former Motley Crew) and have seen a whole different aspect to the game.

I got sent to jail for a rock crab killing me @_@ what do I do after I get out?

You just keep on playing
You'll be groggy for awhile and won't have full health, but it wears off. lol Just make sure you only go after enemies that are gray, green, and possibly yellow. Stay away from the red until you have experience or you'll most likely get sent to jail
