Why can't we repair all the time??

I would like repair at sea capabilities also. I think it's a waste in SvS since you do pop right back up if you sink. Properly implemented, it could be very useful in normal sailing.

Also, one other thing I would really like to see: The ability to jettison or offload cargo without having to land in port. Since they lifted the 'one hour' sailing limitation, why not give us the ability to either offload cargo, or jettison up to half of the cargo on board. Let me toss the Cargo Crates overbaord, so that I can pick up more royals without having to go to shore.

And it's not just the shipwrights, it's the entire ship building industry! Those guys who make the tar and pitch, they get downright nasty about selling to unauthorized retailers! And don't even ask to buy decent pieces of timber!!! The stuff they sell to the public is nothing but knots and warped boards.

I like this idea, or it could/should be automatic, if you sink a ship after your holds are full, instead of plunder it could replace cargo crates with treasure/royals.


Who do you think came up with tar and feathering? Sure wasn't the poultry industry...
