Is there any point in this thread?
This thread is a good idea IF any of the developers are reading out comments.
Is anyone reading these posts who can change anything about the game? If not ,there is no point in this thread. ![]()

" It's hard to tell which NPC's have quests to offer. I have approached some NPCs several times, and they have nothing for me, then after I level-up they have a quest for me. But I would never know it unless I talk to every NPC every time I level up."
An NPC is offering a quest is you see a flag over their head. All but one I'm aware of are in Port Royal (very essential quests if you're looking to add more coin). The bartender in the shanty town in Tortuga offers mercenary quests. |

I'm surprised no one has mentioend this before on the whish list". Maybe it doesn't bother the res of you but it drives me uts.
I want a way to restrict who is on your ship. Or to toss people off the ship when you need too. currently anyone who is on your friend list, or anyone who is on the friend list of anyone else who manages to get on your ship can just board the ship whenerver they like. This leaves you open to ding bats who can't hold their fire. Agroing everything on the waves and messing up your "fishing" trips. Let me kick people off the ship and it will greatly cut down in my cursing! |

Yeah but like I said, and like you may have seen by now, they don't have to be on my friends list to get on the ship.
I may have someone who is cool to play with on my ship. Any fool they've befriended can get on my ship now. I have no control over that. I can't even tell who they followed to get on board so that I can kick them both off. I can't kick them off anyway! |

So in other words, a boot button for your ship will be great.

Maybe a PvP only server, where it is allowed to attack other pirates anywhere any time. It would be great to pass the time, especially for high level pirates. You could also get items from them too. You could sink each others ship while on the High Seas.

1. Get someone your level in a PvP match. I'm level 17, 18 now, and I feel bad going into a game against a lv3.
2. In game events, if we don't have some already planned. Like something happens one day, and a ton of ppl gather. 3. I know they said no, but choose an alliance. Not the navy, but different pirate groups, like maybe a member of Soa Fengs crew, Barbossa, or Jacks. 4. They said they'd have player generated content right? Player run cities. If they can make it work. Also, if you feel destructive, as a pirate should, you can steal from the cities, raid it, burn, whatever you want. 5. Call it crazy but i would like to interact with npc's more. Like talking with them in conversations. You can get on thier good side, and they'll let you into secret areas, give you stuff. (some guy told me you could do that in SWG talk to them at least, was he lying) 6. Sry, 3rd time editing, but where is Pirate Dice as a game? I would make big money playing that. Things I agree with -Guild notices, and houses -More appearance customization |

I like the game but i dont love it yet, it has a lot of potential.
I would like to see, for a start to have some way using view guild members and to get the same menu as u do for fiends/crew u have to sarifice friends in order to have most of ur guild members also as friends, we dont just play in our own guilds and as a friendly game community we all help each other , even if we dont play enough with them to have in our very limited friends list. 2 suggestions, 1. Make no of friends a lot larger or 2. allow players to access the same menu in show guild as they can by selecting a friend or left clicking on the player. either should be very easy add to the game. please post your thoughts , as the more posts, the more chance this may be fixed. :mikec:

When I started playing this game and was sent to the Tattoo parlor,
I was so stoked to think I was gonna get a tattoo! In the end...just disappointment. Not sure how it would work, but what is a Pirate without a tattoo?! Maybe just a selection of stock designs that you can buy from. This idea of having more things to spend your gold on is a good one. Even if they are silly things that have no purpose...younger kids like buying and collecting things! The Clothing and Hat shops are a definate need also. Barber or Hair stylist is a secondary choice. I'd like to see decoration for your ships too. Maybe a flag? Like a "design your own flag" interface. Why not show the player's flag, above the boat, just like the flagships? And what about Sails? Designs or colors for the sails? Maybe a Sail Shop where you can upgrade to better sails, colored sails, etc? Some more voices would be a nice change. Talked with jack Sparrow in the beginning of the game and then nothing all the way through the quest. Not even Barbossa spoke to me! I was expecting a cinematic piece at the end of each quest for a crew member. Last edited by OutlawZ; 12-16-2007 at 02:57 PM.. |

they need a better guild name system like a list or something
most of the good names are already taken ![]() and a crows nest on ships Last edited by clancykid060; 01-16-2008 at 11:20 PM.. |

They have the model on most of the ships I've seen. They just need to make them usable. It'd be nice to have some sort of spy glass as well, so you could get info on enemies. Infact, why not just add selectable targeting, so I can get a readout on my interface rather than straining my eyes to see the enemies level. Also, I want to see WAY more ship types. I can't even stress that enough. It doesn't matter what kind, but theres only 9 right now... cmon now... Another thing, I know they have something along this planned, but in depth upgrades. I'de like to be able to chose a wood type because it's strong for armor, or because it's light for speed, or an inbetween. They could really go into it with an upgrade system. Also, why is it that theres so few areas on the map / in the game. The areas are either so high the average player can't solo out in it, or it's so low that it's just a huge cluster of friendlies camping a few NPC's. One thing I really feel the game is missing is a speed gauge, and possibly a current/wind direction too. I want to know how I can go faster, and in what direction I should sail to maximize my speed. One really cool feature I think, for when you still want to be alone, or if it's late at night and fewer people are on, would be to add NPC cannoneers that you can hire for a cut of your loot. They don't need to be very accurate (Even less than 10%), but it'd give us a feeling of having a lot of cannons being useful, even without a boat load of players. I also want to see more factions in the game. It's either red/white, black/grey, or rags (Navy, EITC, dead). I know they want to be true to the story line, but there needs to be content for the game as well ~~ And I praise everyone who has pointed out the suck that is the chat system. ~~ A few have pointed out custom flags, or paint jobs. I'm 100% with that, we want to be unique. And if the game is censored down for kids, why not... let them... be creative.... Someone else mentioned a global chat or LFG. That's a major need right now =/ So is being able to "Walk the plank" someone who gets on your ship and AFK's while you work, or who attacks stuff intentionally way higher than you so you have to run / die. Finally, I really want to see a better naming system for both ships and players. I don't like seeing several people named "Pirate". Block the single names, and explode the current list of names so people can really get fancy. |

alot more skill points so all of your skills can be maxed out. make the ones after mastering the different things hard to get, like a long quest for 1 in each weapon or something like that. enough said.
