This note in the game does explain why there has been lots more EITC ship activity around PDF. They put in the stowaway 'feature', and no one was using it. So, They put all the DO's, the Dread's and the other big ships around PDF to force low level pirates to use the stowaway feature to get from island to island.
Not bad enough trying to force players to buy more accounts so that the family can play, i.e. removing tabbed accounts, but now they are trying to get us to pay more ingame gold to go from island to island. Just another money grab, and this time not even real money!
**Gonna start an ingame taxi service. I'll take you from PDF to PR or Tortuga for HALF the gold those dockworkers charge. I'll consider other islands, and even let you shoot a cannon and earn some rep while we're at it.**
** Where do I apply for a commercial license?** Maybe Elizabeth has the forms there in the Governor's Mansion?**
