Independence day is the day on which the Declaration of Independence was written thus ending the American Revelution and giving all Americans freedom.

... Actually the Declaration of Independence (written in 1776) is part of what started the Revolutionary War. The war ended in 1781; however, the Treaty of Paris wasn't signed until 1783 where the British abandoned all claims to the United States thus giving Americans freedom from the throne.

Haha, I applaud your knowledge.

For me Independence day means exactly that, independence, freedom, the right be free.
