Also, I've heard of the Hijack Glitch ( also long ago ). If anyone's done this, or helped a friend do this, please tell me, how much fun was it?

If you mean hijack a navy ship?

This was possible at one time - but with the repairs of the "flying of the ship" glitch I don't think this would be possible now.

There is a video of it somehwere on youtube - but I have not seen it in some time.

If you mean hijack another players ship?

Very frowned upon - and that glitch was fixed long ago (and no - I will not mention the steps that were used back then).

Oh yeah, back in the day, it WAS possible to find a Phantom Flagship.

Back in whos day? Once again, unless your talking pre-beta something this was never in live.

Doing the glitch was fun, too bad its gone now. It was simple, yet it kept you occupied.

Oh yeah, back in the day, it WAS possible to find a Phantom Flagship. Many other ships were Flagships, but now, they aren't. It's sad.

As Sarah said, and others have said multiple times, there have never been the flagships you refer to. Even ask people that were around in Beta, there were none.

I am not 100% certain about the Ironwall part, but I am, and others are too, 100% aware there have NEVER been any Skeleton flagships other than the french and spanish one, which were not there in Early 08

Ugh, ya know what, forget about that post, at least I know that Bulwarks and Greyhounds USED to be Flagships ( they were taken out, does that answer your questions?). END OF DISCUSSION, BACK ON TOPIC.

At one time D may of been thinking about putting them into the game - and in the Players Manual for the longest time Undead Captains were mentioned (the pages being drawn up before completion of the game - they were possibly removed before beta release) which over the past few years has created some confustion (and a few threads like this one looking for them), but they never did make their way onto open, several hard attempts have been made by players using different methods to locate them have discovered none, and possibly one day - D may put some in (along with skelley flagships besides the undead French and Spanish)

As of now, Friday, July 31st, 2009, the Undead Captains are no longer in the Undead List of the Player's Guide.

I'm glad they have put a new push on updating the Players Guide - not only for the question of Undead Captains, but several items in the last year have continued to creep up here where players are looking for items / locations / quests information and the innaccurate manual only caused confusion (like in this case).

Lets hope this new push of updating continues to expand into the game as well (and keep up the guide at the same time )

If you participated in some Jolly Roger Invasions, you probably noticed some odd Undead using Bladestorm. If you didn't see the name tag, it is...

They popped up in Round 7 when I was in an invasion about an hour ago. Them, along with Corrupted ( or Twisted, as I didn't care about them, I focused on the Undead Captains ) Stumps.

can you get a screenshot for me level seven enemies in the invasion don't spawn but jolly does

I would, but I don't know where the file that the pictures are stored in is ( or even WHAT the file is ). I have a few from different Invasions, but if you join one, you'll see an Undead Captain.
Tortuga Invasions ( Test Only ) also have the same enemies as the Port Royal Invasions, so check them out if you can.
