How Did You Become a Pirate?

I became a Pirate a couple days after watching one of those commercials from (2?)years ago with content that has yet to be released. Disappointed in their failure to actually put more than 3 fun bits in the game, I planned to quit, but my real life friend got me to stay longer, and somewhere along the line, I got hooked. :|
