Developer Diary #15 - The State of the Caribbean

Ship Customization. The Kraken. Loot & Inventory. Pirate Lairs. New Islands. New Quests. We have gotten a lot of good ideas from you, our players. Now which of these are you looking forward to the most?

This leads me to believe that they're going to be working on the one thing that the players want more than anything else.(Probably the Kraken)

Simon, in this thread we're asking you to choose the one thing that you would like to see us work on next. While some design and development work has been done on Kraken and ship customization, neither are planned for the immediate future. To get a sneak peek at what the Pirates Online development team is currently working and is planned for future releases, take a look at the most recent Developer Diary.

[sarcasm]What, no Kraken or ship customization before summer!? That's unacceptable.[/sarcasm] Hopefully we'll get something that will keep us busy before these big updates.
From what I've read, if they're not going to release the Kraken or ship customization soon, then they may save that as a two year anniversary for October of this year. It's been... what, a year since some decent content came out?(Note: Content, not bug fixes or improvements) I know others may not be able to wait the rest of the year but I think I can. Only if they decide to release some side stuff before the end of summer.
