No such thing as over-qualified, game should be nice and stable on your machine.
Its the amount of people on one server, ship vs ship seems to lag a lot recently (annoying when coming to close sinking a ship).
Should note that checking your settings, if your PC just meets the minimum requirement, probably should be set to low.
