How Much Lag Do You Get?

Odd, I meet the requirements, and have much more than the requirements, and I still get lag, and it's unlimited access.

I meet the requirements and more and still get so much lag that I quit PotCO until it's fixed. Unlimited Access also.

Are you guys referring to lag as in system lag? or network lag?

I'm guessing its system lag, as I doubt your chat messages would be delayed by half an hour...

Seriously, I have no problem running this game on 1920x1080 resolution on a 40" Monitor, all settings except full reflections on. (Makes Sailing Smooth as... As the only reflective water is when you are on the open sea)

Hmmm not sure what kind of lag some are talking about. I play on a yr old laptop, wireless, 1GB. Nothing fancy. I didn't "dummy down" anything in the game. Game defaults, widescreen. (I do have sound off as the music makes me crazy ) Last night in a really busy ocean I noticed it more than in the past. I just switched to a slower ocean and all was fine again.

I know on TT many complain of lag also and while I have it every so often after doing too many boss battles I guess I'm just one of the lucky ones? What the reasons are I have no idea. (knocking on wood just incase )

I play unlimited access, settings maxed out and I only get a very mild lag in very highly populated areas.

It depends on which PC Im on. I dont crash with either one of our PC's, but when I use the kid's PC (which has about the same spec's, but Im sure has all kinds of viruses and Adware and Spyware on it, as well), I have a lot more lag (especially in busy districts and when using the cannons, or when boarding a ship with several people), and have to restart the game after a couple of hours or so, depending on what I've been doing in the game.
