Im at a loss to understand here, that is EXACTLY what it does now except that it shows a circle instead of an X. To help to make the game playable (consistent commands), prevent game lag, make it more efficient and run smoother, it makes sense to use the same image/texture (circle) to mark functions of a similar nature.

All green circles require pressing the shift key to initiate action (if there is one available at the time), this makes sense. Its consistent and easy to remember. Oh! Green circle... ill press shift.

X's to mark the spot of buried items is semantics IMO that are unnecessary, might be cool, but very VERY low on my, that would make POTCO better list.

It would be neat if they allowed us to catalog them, ie mark our maps with an X perhaps to find them later when we want. What pirate does NOT mark such places on their maps?!

Aye zep! what i meant by the X thing, it would basically be EXACTLY the same but the inner part of the circle would just have a X in it, and still give you the same message saying "press shift to dig" or whatnot, granted like you said we would all survive if Disney didn't waist there time on it and got some good things coming out.
