I believe some other people have shared their brief explanations in other threads, but yours is much more complex.(In a good way!) I would love to see these in the games, but if we were to style, or customize our doll and staff, I'd like to see a gypsy shop. Very good ideas.

P.S. Wait, rainbow casting, sweet! I'd love to be able to have multiple colors for staff casting. I'm sure there's a lot of people that would love a Black/Orange mix for Halloween.(Since it's the closest holiday)

Ok ironhawk, what you said about the rainbow gave me an epiphany!! I think weather should be implemented in the form of staff spells.

These would be simple weather changing spells you earn by leveling (rain, snow, though it doesnt snow in the caribbean , fog ... etc.). Now, it comes to the fork in the road......

1) Does the spell just affect the players view, or 2) every one in that areas view? Well, this could be decided by big D themselves.

If the spell just affects you, than it would cause no controvery and everything would have that realistic touch. But, at the same time, no one else would have the same feeling as you (of course you could tell your crew which weather affect to put on their screen.... hmmm).

Now if it affected the whole area from one player, it could be the highest lvl pirates spell that engulfs all the lower lvls casts.... but, that just wouldn't be right. Maybe the spells could be purchased at the gypsey shop reffered to in ironhawks post.
