I say stick with the code. Disney (not Barbossa) wrote that code so that children would not be engaged in gun violence against authority figures. I know that it happened in the movies, and I know that it is not realistic in regards to what real pirates did. But the movies and real pirates didn't have voodoo staffs, voodoo dolls, or teleportation either. So, seems to make sense to me, in a twisted logic sort of way.

Stay with the code.
I agree, stay with the code. Along with the logical reasons stated, I am in no mood to have the navy start shooting at me with their muskets. With a musket's range, we pirates wouldn't stand a chance. And adding a crouch move wouldn't do any good. By the time you thought about doing it, it would be too late for ya. And for those thinking that by having a new option added that you could assign points to avoid attacks, it would just make leveling slower.
