The quest was gone for a while, and it came back. I was going to Sam everyday to pick up the hunt skeletons quest several times a day. So I know it wasn't being offered for awhile.
I thought when it was offered again, they had fixed the bug, but apparently it hasn't been fixed yet, or we just haven't stumbled across the right dig spot. |

well i am here to solve this once and for all. i just found the earring, it is between two rocks across from Lucinda by the guy cutting wood. dug something up and finished the earring quest.

i have done the quest like 4 times now for money but the second part is kill two skeletons to get another earring
