October - Epitaph Contest

[David Stormrage]

David Stormrage kicked the bucket
Because of his little light sloop
He tried to take a frigate
But ended up looking a goof
So now he rests in this deep hole
With chunks of grape shot in his foot
His ghost comes out sometimes though
But the frigates he will not try to loot

History: David just came out of the Kings Arm and it seems he had too much rum. So he decided to go plundering in his light sloop the Floundering Minnow. This didn't go too well and he ended up dying because of a dreadnaught cannoneer that was good with grape shot.

Legend: It is said that sometimes you can still see the Floundering Minnow trying to destroy a Dreadnaught. Everytime it disappears as soon as the first broadside is fired. It is also said that the jacket he wore still floats out in the open sea.

Tombstone: Rectangular with a little light sloop figurine always standing on it. Also a tall oak tree behind it as the sloop he died in was made mostly from oak.


Yeah I know it probably won't win but it's worth a try and in the end at least I shared something with the pirates!

The grave of ol' Davil lays here
Who had plundered for years
But had a run in with ol' Jolly
And then struck ol' Davil down

A cutlass ran him through and though
Against the EITC he fought
Now he's here to stay and rot
His spirit though does haunt the night
Looking for EITC to fight

Here lies Capt C Ray
Proud pirate and member
of the mighty ETC guild.
He fought by his brethrens
side through many an invasion
until he came face to face with
Jolly Roger himself.
Ray now sails the open seas
by Jolly's side.

She was one of the strongest of the Krewe
Until she messed with Fluffy, a gator
Then all the Krewe, they did hate her

Her life was tough and brief,
Aided by barrels of rum.
Now her ETC mates lie in grief,
For her life came to a sum.
Too groggy to rationalize,
She foolishly took the helm.
And came upon a Behemoth twice her size,
In a terrifying realm!
After an unsuccessful flee,
She secured the grappling hooks
To the treacherous and devilish beastie
And prepared to face the EITC crooks.
Her enemies were liquidated
By the might of her deadly grenade,
But her confidence quickly faded,
For her health mysteriously waned.
As Aleh's health continued down its wretched spiral,
She fetched her rum, for one last chug.
And with a shrug, yelled:
“RATS! This must have been another Disney bug!”

many sorrow her terrible fate
healing fellow dueces as they play

Cursed Caverns made her slumberous
sleeping near enemies is disastrous
waking up in Davy's tight Grip
took off running but didnt see the dip
