The last I read in the Developer's Diary back in April or May it stated the second chapter was to deal with the Kraken. It also said they were having trouble with the rendering of said beastie. Now if this is still the case, I don't know. Big D may have decided to go in a dfferent direction and I missed it. Not trying to perpetuate the myth just passing on what I've seen on the web site.

Moro1212,

I have been playing the game for since Feb of 08. I play every day for at least an hour. I have been able to attend most of the announced GM events, although it is hard to learn much at these since there are always those pirates tha thave no respect for whats going on.
I have been lucky enough to see Constance twice, both because a guild mate sent the word out. And I have had 2 chance encounters with GM appearences.
I think it is great that some of the actual developers working on the game take the time to visit us pirates in the world they have created. It is always exciting when they do. If they were to do it too much, the excitement and suspence associated with their appearences would be gone.
Keep playing the game and as mentioined, play on some of the lower A oceans. Who knows, ya might get lucky.
Good sailing.
