I didn't see a significant difference with the 3d glasses. If nothing else, it gave me a killer headache after only a couple of minutes. I was really looking forward to it too.

I got the 3D glasses a week ago, and my internet was merciful enough to let me online (but only for about 7 minutes). It only works in dim light, and it gave me a headache.

Were you in windowed mode? It does seem to work better in full screen mode. Less non-3D things on the monitor to throw your eyes off, which is a pity because I need to have a lot more than just pirates going on at the same time usually (though I suppose I shouldn't be doing those other things with these glasses on!).
