also check the graphic card to see if it is installed properly check on a nother moniter if possible i built my own computer and will try to help you here if i can let us know what you did and if it works

Things to check
Did you hear any beeps from the machine? did your hard drive light go on?
I would check: * is the video card in the slot correctly - take it out and try to replace it. * look at the mother board instructions - Does it have its own video built in - There maybe a switch to tell it what kind of video card you are using * Based on the switches for the Mother Board - what kind of slot is your video card using and is it in the right slot * Do you have another computer that you can 'borrow' a video card from that you know works? -Jack |
