Every year I grow tired of all the "Team Stats" that are in papers, TV and online. What I like are the "people" stories of the players on either team.

Believe it or not, there are 9 players between the Saints and Colts who are from Louisiana. This newspaper story details the connection and strange travel paths that a few of the players took to get to their teams and the Super Bowl. The above article mentions 8 players between the two teams. There is actually a 9th player. Colts TE Tom Santi (on Injured Reserve).
