i never mentioned the word 'negotiations'. See, Cutthroght has been having the guild Rage's Marauders for a year. He has been having all the good members and the guild is his pride. He had even once been to rank 9 on sinking ships leaderboards, but went down to 60 after privateering came. Jane is his right hand man ( girl actually ). All the previous great members of the Marauders are inactive, and only Jane, me, Cutt and a few others to a lesser extent are active.
Thats one thing that prevents our entire guild form coming. If not then i will come myself. Our guild has only 197 members. I'm trying to tell him that we will be the Marauders even if we leave to yer guild. He is yet to reply to my message ( on our guild site ). I'm also trying to highlight the fact that we should think out of the box, forgetting the pride of our guild, and realize it affects my personal game experience, which is why i hardly come online. Since I'm officer, and one of this man's good friends since May of 09, it will also be a bad experience for him if i leave alone, considering that i left the guild once for McRaging.... |

LOL - sorry the word was "Broker".
I have many friends in other guilds and that seems to work out just fine. I understand though been in several guilds that have failed for one reason of another and it's no fun. Good luck mate and let Eliza or me know if we can help. Captain Whale |

We would welcome you, but you may consider an option. Are any of you officers?
If so, make another pirate of yours a member in the guild and then you can move your 1st or 2nd pirates to the ETC, but remain in touch with your old guild. |

Alehahaa was one of our first officers when the ETC first formed and she's been a loyal member, only taking some time help another guild before coming back to us.
Aleh, you will always be my Number One - though Captain Whalebones now assumes that post (and does an amazing job at it). You were a good friend back when we were so few. We do hope your journey will continue with us from now on, we all missed you. |

Our Cup Runneth Over!!
As of tonight mates, the ETC reached the maximum number of pirates for a guild - 500!
An amazing feat I could NEVER have imagined when the handful of loyal officers and myself started this journey back in June. I do want to take a moment to mention our latest additions: #498 Daniel Munro #499 Mark McCrash #500 Meghan Treasurestealer And also special thanks to Shwash Buckler for introducing new pirates to us this evening. But, this is not about 1 member - its about ALL of YOU. Every one of you makes this old salt's heart get soft knowing that HERE is where you want to be. I pledge to keep the ETC's doors open as long as there is a sea to sail and an enemy to fight! LONG LIVE THE ELITE THIEVERY COMPANY!!
