Not to sound like a complainer, but REAL pirates didn't use big warships - blah blah blah
But, historically even Black Beard's Queen Anne's Revenge, big as she was, was still nowhere near the size of a true warship. Most pirates, and still true today, use smaller fast craft to overtake their prey. They targeted unarmed vessels, boarded them and took cargo at weapon point. And we should be at a disadvantage anyway, we're supposed to be the underdogs here. |
