Major test glitch. Caution.

All in a day's work as a tester I guess. But I've been test for almost a year now and don't remember anything as wildly messed up as this though.

I initially started this just warn people what might happen if they log in. It is not the loss of the new weapons that worries me. Those are plentiful and fun to look for. But some of us also lost gold and all our clothes and our original weapons. Again, not a real problem as long as long as they don't have to totally reset the server. I would HATE to start from level 1 again.

I can say this about the new update. Once it is fixed, it is a game changer for me. On the best of days I hate level grinding. But once you finish the game, what else is left? But on the one day that the update worked well, level grinding didn't feel like level grinding. It was more like treasure hunting. It made the mindless mouse clicks of fighting of random foes feel purposeful and fun again, even though I had absolutely nothing to accomplish.

I hope they can fix it.

Edit: I have to be honest. I am REALLY going to miss my Baboon Broadsword. I loved that sword.
