It's mainly American nerds, but almost all of my friends love Star Wars ( however, they are nerds) But I think it's a little bigger in the UK because of George Lucas.

Is George Lucas British? If so I wouldn't of expected the British to come p with something that big most of the good stuff is produced in America.
