i just hit level 20 . 9:30pm EST use port royal when it says any island and i used swift foot 3 to grind,

I'm just going to add on to this with a tip, considering it makes potions go so much faster, which makes for more time to use the potions!

If you do four of the first-level things, when they combine, you'll get two second-level ingredients. If you combine five first-level, that makes three second-level ingredients. Which immediately makes a third-level ingredient.

Combos are awesome, once you learn how to make them happen.

wrong it does not always immediately make a third yes most of the time but not all of the time

Actually what Cat said is correct.. although they must follow the same guidelines. It's possible to get 5 of one, and have the 3 newly formed objects separated, but what Cat meant is when they can still combine..
