What happened too coloring 50% of the clothes?

I got a few things in drops, a black sash, and a red dingy shirt but on different pirates. I seem to have bad luck or maybe I have to try different enemies. I get the same stuff over and over. Woodland clothing, forest green and bark and pine cones in the description, I think the pixie hollow designers are working here as well.
