YEA LOL. My friend joined Guild Wars and he quit immediately after 2 days. He said that there was only fighting, fighting, fighting... Kinda silly. However, I have noted from a friend on PotCo, William Kid, that he said that the game though having low graphics has some quite well handled events... and when I check both official and external wikis of Guild Wars, I did note that they had loads of articles, and thus many many enemies in that game. I'll still stick with this game, and I don't see why some people don't appreciate the Weapons update. If I were to chose an "event handled" game like Guild Wars, then I'd obviously go back to playing Runescape...
Bottom Line: I wouldn't care about Guild Wars for a very long time (perhaps, eternity? idk)
