I think "noob" was derived from a form of newb, which is probably from newbie=someone who is new at something. Someone probably figured "hey, noob is a heck of a lot easier to type than newbe, so lets see if it catches on"
Who knows, I could be wrong, but it deffinately makes sense, aye? |
