The point is, you can't blame a group just because you've seen it or felt it, especially when you don't really know who you're dealing with. |

You can't point it at adults SEAKING. You have no evidence supporting it, and there is no way you can tell if someone is a kid or adult just by looking at them in game. It's most likely a combination of both.

Maybe that could be true, but you can't blame adults either. That would just be prejudice.

I wasn't really blaming, its just that it sounds like a lot of people blame kids, so i wanna point out that both are the root of the problem.

Another instance today.
I was in Raven's Cove minding my own business, going back and forth in between the two Traitor Ghosts. I was there for about 5 minutes when this level 50 comes in and, without asking, decides that it is ok to beginning attack the ghosts. I ask the pirate politely to head somewhere else ( the ENTIRE cave was open,) whether be a new spot or a new server - I just wanted to loot by myself in my little spot, after a stressful day. However, he is unresponsive. Finally, after whispering to him, the pirate goes ahead and begins to confront me, telling me that I don't own the spot, and I don't have the right to tell him where and where not to play. He then gets his WIFE to argue for him, still repeating that I was the one who "should have asked" (I'm not even sure what she was saying,) and again that her husband can "do whatever he wants." After me and the pirate try to talk about why you should ask before you begin to get involved, the pirate just ignores me, telling me they were going to contact Disney about me, and then teleports away. The sad thing about this whole situation is the fact that this pirate told me they were a member of the forums. I know this isn't exactly a hall of wisdom, but I would imagine pirates here are more enlightened in terms of in-game courtesy and politeness. So, I ask any of you - was I wrong in this situation? |

On another note, about the whole "age" thing, it is sometimes intelligible in other, more (I hope I'm not offending anyone by saying this...) mature games on the PC platform the age of the person you are dealing with. Here and other MMOs of this type, meh, not so much. However, the games requiring custom gaming rigs to play usually have a more mature community. (Which I am a proud member of.) Therefore, a younger member tends to stick out. This may be because of the price of gaming rigs, or the fact that younger children may not know too much about computers. (This is not always true. I was a PC gamer when I was about 12 and I am sure there are a handful of youths out there who are very tech-capable.) But in MMOs, not so much. |

Del.
No. You were perfectly right. It really gets on my nerves when people just come and invade you. It is just so incredibly rude and inconsiderate. Sure, you don't own the place, but you can politely tell him that you would prefer to be alone. If he was any sort of person, he would listen, and go find somewhere else. Whoever this jerk was obviously had no manners, and was being very inconsiderate. If you get a ban, I would personally email Disney with my ranting gloves strapped on, even though they would just trash the email. Especially the fact that this is an adult. A married adult. An adult who had his wife go and yell at you. That is just... well, I don't need words to express it. Sorry that had to happen to you Del. But hey! At least they left in the end, aye? |

You pointed the main problem right there, Del.
How many servers are there? I'll estimate and say 3 and a half dozen. How many different areas are there to fight? I'll estimate again and say 30. And in each place, how many enemies are there? Anywhere from 5 to 25. Using the 25, I get 31,500 different enemies. 31,500. Yes, I made mere estimates, but how far can I be truly off? I can only be 7000 off, give or take. There are so many enemies to fight. If you are really hankering to get after that Undead Boss by yourself, look for an empty server. There's bound to be one. And if not, ASK the person there if you can participate. If they say no, respect his/her wishes. It was rude, but must there really be a full blown fight? So many enemies to share. And really, would not a Timothy Dartan be just as powerful as a Darkhart? Would not 5 ghosts be as challenging as a Foulberto? Would not a Neban be able to be put in place of a Remington? So really, the next time you find that a boss is currently being fought or a place has an occupant, is a drawn out argument better than just a quick search? |

Del, this version of the story is 100% correct. I am a witness, and until the person started getting offensive, you handled yourself perfectly, AND you were on the correct side.
I, for one, do not believe that you have anything to be guilty of. You did the right thing. I am very sorry that this happened. We all know that this should not happen. |

I would also like to point out that I was just recently harrassed in game, while I was AFK in the water. I won't go in to details.

I'm guessing that you either were doll attacked, or someone did something inappropriate?

While I was AFK, two pirates came up and began to make rude comments about me. I would have gotten screens, but unfortunately I could only take it with print screen since Guild Chat was flying, and I didn't know how to post screenshots from print screen.

![]() I was there as well, (not the two pirates but the Cove incident, for some of it) and from what I heard, and what I have done in the past, Del did the common procedure. The procedure is ask politely and explain what you are doing, but if they get "someone else" to argue for them that hasn't seen the whole story, that's just wrong. What I heard is his "wife" thought you had invaded him. ~CM
