stealing ship glitch?

I remember this old glitch. When I joined POTCO last year, I got my Light Sloop ready to sail and activated autorun and was typing a message and I lost sight of my ship and turned back. My pirate was running at the center of the bow then. But Disney fixed it and no more ship stealing. I saw a video of someone stealing a Navy Ferret! Pirates were following the stolen Ferret and must be wondering "Why is a Navy Ship running?" I wish Disney returns it so we can hijack the Treasure fleets, Jolly Roger's War Frigates, and even steal the Goliath if possible.
