(And if yer gonna get broadside to a Kingfisher, then ye deserve the fireballs. )To the original question: I think it really depends on your usual method of sailing. If you often have a crew, then I'd get the Frigate now. It'll make their life much easier. But if you sail solo most of the time, then save up for that War Galleon. |

I would say, and will say, get a War Galleon. Galleons are more one pirate friendly, which means you can sail alone and have enough broadsides to make it almost anywhere without a crew. Afterwards, you have more cargo space to get more treasure to save up even faster for a Frigate or a War Frigate. Frigates are more crew friendly, so if you don't have enough pirates with you to fill up a Frigate, you should travel with Galleons, since Frigates have less broadsides and more cannons.

Galleon-gives you a better haul, but not as fast as the frigate. I would say Frigate for speed
![]() Edit: One more plus about the frigate it has front cannons and the Galleon does not, you'll find the front cannons much more useful, sort of like a gorilla war tactic lol |

I think the War Galleon is better than a Frigate.

Ya, if you get a War Galleon, you'd make 8000 in no time.
Im not even sure why your debating getting a "normal" ship over a war ship anyways.

I am in your same situation.. and I find it best to save for a war galleon then save for a war sloop and war frigate =) it is much easier and faster that way.

only get the war galleon if you have a good high lvl cannon crew. otherwise you'll be sunk in that snail.

I prefer War Sloops, actually. Though they sink fast, if you are a good captain and experienced sailor you can easily outmaneuver the enemy cannon fire. Just make sure you have a few dots on Windcatcher, one on Come About, one on Ramming Speed, and a couple on Full Sail. If you have that, you'll fill up cargo fast in that speedy ship without taking too much damage.
If you want a more expensive ship, go with the Frigate. It is less maneuverable and a little slower, but still a step up from anything else (besides the Sloop). Hope this helps!
