Things have been made so easy for you whipper-snappers. Back in my day, it was an up-hill trip just to get to Cuba. Now it's a minute away. I remember beating my first Veteran with nothing but an Iron Cutlass; waiting for those Navy Cadets outside of town on Port Royal to respawn. So nice back then. (Coughs) (Wheezes)

I miss them old-times. Being basic access, my character never got past level 19, so few players know just how long I've been playing this game. I've been here since Navy Cadets were considered formidable foes and cutlasses were something special. We didn't have voodoo dolls, much less voodoo staffs. As for ammunition? Forget it! It hadn't been invented yet.

Sorry for my lecture, but those were the days... (Coughs, falls over, dies)

Exactly,

I keep telling stories to the younger members of the guild, about how back in the day, the strongest weapon we could get had an attack of 22, and now you complain about getting something that is "only" twice that. I enjoyed those days, but I don't mind it toomuch now. The only thing I really miss is the old Port Royal, now it is like a maze-- it was so simple then.

Port Royal was lovely indeed. You could run over the bridge like Jack Sparrow did. The town was nice, with yellow cobblestone edges. I remember one of my old favorite glitches. At the entrance to town, you ran, jumped at a palm tree, and fell right through.

I miss the gorgeous green fields and the old governor's mansion. And Fort Charles wasn't looming directly over the town. You had to cross various bridges and pass numerous guards before you got there. The last thing I miss about it was that wonderful little stream and graveyard. Now it's far too urban feeling. (Sighs) Those were the days...
