When the battle took place, the invaders and locals fought over el patrons weapons, as we know... but as the battle was nearing an end, the locals had an idea to stop the oncoming foes. They got their weapons and split the ground, so the enemies would fall off into... something (not sure) and after all the storms and stuff, the island seperated into several parts, I am guessing you will have to walk or swim to them. Maybe, thats why it seemed there would be more than one new island coming.

It is a great thought mate, but remember, this isn't exactly approved to be Ravens Cove. This could be one of the shrouds or something. Still, more than likely we'll have some standing water if it just came from the bottom of the sea. It has been a long time since launch, and this will be Island #3. The other two were really dumb and added some annoying additions that brought some low level Spanish and French Enemies. Those two islands took 3 minutes to explore, I am just hoping this can take at least 4.
