A friend of mine was recently banned for talking about music. He said "Listening to Deadmau5 now, Got some Boys Noize and Daft Punk later on my WMP playlist." (Ever heard of those guys? If not, than we have some serious differences in music taste...) I said "Yeah I love those guys. What about Chris Lake?" He said "Yep getting stuff from iTunes now

Bad Andrew! You know better than to say yay!
In all seriousness.. you should contact them. I'm pretty sure it had something to do with the way the first to words sound together.. although you clearly didn't mean anything wrong. |

It annoys me that Disney's method of banning is so simple, that it often bans those who really don't mean anything bad.
Disney's "ban machine" simply scans, and if it finds one or two phrases that don't fit together appropiately, you get banned. It's like taking a document, and only reading two sentences in the middle of it. It doesn't give you the full story, and makes you think something different, than if you actually could read it all. What I think they should do, is not just skim and scan for a phrase. Instead, when the machine finds a phrase or phrases it doesn't like, it will take the phrase(s), and then take the 5 phrases above and below it, with the bad phrases in red. Then, it will be sent to a worker for Disney. It should look something like this: (NOTE: This is just an example) Quote:
Of course, due to the amount of man power and the time Disney has, this is highly improbable this would happen. But it would be nice. |

The funny part is, there was an awkward silence between those two phrases :P

I tried to get a hold of them on their Live Chat and it said I had to log in. Of course what happens when I try to login? This message:
![]() I click the OK button and it takes me here: http://disney.go.com/index ... like nothing is done at all. |

They should ban for maybe an hour or so while a Disney Cast member reviews and evaluates the infraction and/or decide it there was an infraction at all.
