for new players, like my first guy, i didn't know that there were limits on skills and i had to start over and i still made the mistake of chosing the wrong skills to get.

I don't think we should be able to get all the skills max'd. If we did, we'd all end up exactly the same. I think the little bit we have to think about the skills makes the game a bit more interesting?

Someone has said before, which I agree with, it would be nice to be able to switch a point by paying a large amount of gold, like 10k gold or something.

trust me there WILL be more skill points to obtain bc when the next section fo the bp quest comes out they will have to raise the noto cap which in turn forces them to raise the weap cap which in turn gives u more levels to get which in turn leads to obtaining of more skill points i think with in 3 years (as projections show by the rate of releases) that in 3 years all the old skills (assuming they do not release more skills under old weaps) is all skills will be at 5 point

Unless they provide us with different skills or different weapons.

that was the other possiblilty but seriously how many weapons did they have back then (i mean in the movies there was no voodoo doll, staff, or grenades, or daggers so they have already added 4 extra weaps) i mean i want more weapons - cough - flame thrower - cough -

CORRECTION: While they may not have had grenades for actual pirates back in the day... they were in the first movie, when Barbossa's crew attack Port Royal. AND, voodoo makes sense in some form since Tia Dalma was a voodoo-practicing... well, something. The voodoo staff is a bit much. AND, do I really need to point out scenes involving daggers? Perhaps not all of the crazy throwing options we get, but... yeah, they were there.

Flamethrowers? Flaming Skull's got me covered pretty well. At this point, I'd take some skills over new weapons... even though they probably wouldn't make sense with the storyline whatsoever (i.e. fishing skill)
