IF these are just weapon drops, then they don't have to release anything to test or even give an update. They just shorten the swords, give them a new name, and call them daggers.

They may already be out there in some small quantities.

I refer back to a (Almost) 2 year old post: What good are 'new', more powerful weapons, if there isn't anything to use them on? For those still levelling, a more powerful weapon will slow down your levelling because you do more damage and get less rep. For those who are high level, there is nothing to use the new weapon on.

Disney has turned the game into nothing more than, "see who can be the first to get a full collection of worthless junk." NOTHING they have added to the game this year, or even last year, has added to the game experience. Most of the new stuff has actually detracted from the game. What used to be a game that involved groups working together to achieve a goal, has turned into every person playing alone. Potions = playing solo. Fishing = playing solo.

Until there are new QUESTS, and a major storyline, everything they put in the game is just so much fluff.

Speaking of fluff, would snow-filled Christmas themed towns with a Jack Sparrow snowman be considered as a good update?

Not a chance, we don't look for scenery on current islands, we look for new islands that have deadly enemies on them.

There are more weapons in the game than you already know. They're just unobtainable at the moment (I think).
